The start of a new school year is a time for fresh beginnings, new goals, and renewed excitement. Whether your child is entering a new grade, starting a new school, or returning to a familiar classroom, this is a wonderful opportunity to set a positive tone for the year ahead.
Families can support students by staying connected with teachers, reviewing school communication, encouraging strong attendance, and helping students build simple routines at home. Small steps such as preparing for the next school day, checking folders or online platforms, and having conversations about school can make a big difference. We are grateful for your partnership and excited for all this school year will bring.

Families are encouraged to visit the East Orange School District website regularly for important updates, announcements, calendars, resources, and district information.
This year, families can also take advantage of the district's new chatbot feature, designed to help make information easier to access. The chatbot can assist families with finding answers, locating resources, and navigating important district information more quickly.
Please check the district website often and explore the new chatbot feature to stay connected, informed, and supported throughout the school year.
