If you are interested in Johnnie L. Cochran Academy and your child is currently in grades 3-7, he or she will be screened for eligibility if they are nominated. The deadline for recommending students for testing is January 14. The Cognitive Abilities Test (CogAT) will be administered the week of January 26 in our schools. For East Orange residents who currently attend charter schools, you may test in-person at the Division of Curriculum and Instruction at 9 AM on January 27 or January 28.
