Board of Education

The East Orange Board of Education consists of seven members who are appointed by the Mayor of East Orange. The board works to ensure that all stakeholders—administrators, educators, and students—meet or exceed the district’s educational goals. Board members volunteer their time and expertise to set district policies, allocate budgets, set district goals and priorities, and hire and retain exceptional staff members.
