Under the leadership of Superintendent AbdulSaleem Hasan in partnership with The Urban Assembly and Founder of The Black Man Can, Brandon Frame, the East Orange School District presented: The State of SEL in the Community Building a Better Brother - A Conversation on SEL and Mental Health with CEO & Author of "Battle Cry" Mr.Jason Wilson!

This cultivating event created a safe space for our male high school scholars and also the East Orange Community. Earlier that morning Mr. Wilson, along with our Supt. Hasan, traveled to our three high schools, East Orange Campus High, Cicely Tyson High School and EO STEM Academy, not to lecture but to have heartfelt, and open communication with our young kings. The day was uplifting, inspiring, emotional, and most of all epic.
