Felecia Williams Ware

Felecia Williams Ware is a career-long educator with over 20 years as a certified school counselor and School Operations Manager. She grew up in East Orange, graduating from Clifford J. Scott HS in 1995. Mrs. Ware graduated from Morgan State University in 1999 with a bachelor's in Elementary Education and a Master's of Education in Educational Counseling & Guidance from Loyola College of Maryland in 2001. Committed to always learning and growing, in 2019 Mrs. Ware completed the Kean University Post Master’s Certificate Program in Educational Leadership.

 

Felecia Williams Ware, an advocate for student success with a passion for post-secondary planning and exposing students to opportunities that allow them to explore their potential academically and personally. The goal is to build positive relationships while pouring into their development. Further believing it is our duty as educators, community partners, and other stakeholders to provide the best resources and guidance to help students tap into their potential and purpose.

 

As a 2021 appointed member of the East Orange School Board, Mrs. Ware is a mother and wife. An active member of Chosen Generation Ministries of Newark. Employed by the Newark Board of Education since 2001, currently a school counselor for Newark Vocational High School and Newark Evening High School, an adult education program. As an East Orange-based community entrepreneur, Mrs. Ware acts as sole proprietor of FW Elite Mobile Notary Service and is a licensed NJ Real Estate Agent. She lends her time to family, community outreach/service, travel, and cultural activities.
