Division of Curriculum & Instruction

The Division of Curriculum and Instruction stands committed to providing leadership in the development and understanding of curricula, as well as their implementation. In full alignment with the district’s vision to prepare all students for college, careers, and life in high-performing schools, the Division of Curriculum and Instruction aligns our work with state and national standards, including the New Jersey Student Learning Standards, Next Generation Science Standards, and the Professional Standards for Teachers and School Leaders.

As a department, we are deeply rooted in the belief that we are here as a resource and support with shared accountability. We intend to deliver results in the form of well-designed professional development programs for our teaching staff that focus on all students in meeting their greatest potential. Each of our supervisors revels in their experiences as classroom teachers and works tirelessly as administrators to create a culture where every student can enter his/her classroom with a teacher who is prepared to facilitate the expectations of today and meet the demands of tomorrow.
