Staff Development
An unknown educator said, "You cannot be a master teacher until you are a master learner." The office of staff development's central purpose is to provide learning opportunities for all educators to increase student achievement. Here in EOSD, we accomplish this purpose by hosting Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), book studies, research groups, and facilitating workshops during and after school.
Our training calendar includes, but is not limited to, professional development with a focus on culturally relevant teaching, engagement strategies, and the integration of technology in instruction. In all of our training, we model practices that teachers can utilize within their classrooms. We are excited to exemplify instructional practices that ensure our teachers are prepared to engage and ignite our scholars!
